Autumn in New York!
Classical KING in the Big Apple

As friends of Classical KING, you are especially invited to join popular Midday host Molly Molloy in New York City for a glorious week of music, art, and architecture. The musical highlights are spectacular: performances at Carnegie Hall by the Berlin Philharmonic, called “the Rolls Royce of orchestras,” under the baton of Kirill Petrenko, with star pianist Daniil Trifonov, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, led by Yannick Nézet-Séguin (photo left); a new production of Verdi’s masterpiece Macbeth at the Metropolitan Opera, with a first-rate cast featuring Lise Davidsen—the world’s reigning dramatic soprano—as the power-mad Lady Macbeth; and a curated private performance in the city.

Crisp October days are filled with visits to renowned museums and cultural landmarks with private, expert guides including: the serene Cloisters, America’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the art and architecture of the Middle Ages; the Neue Galerie, a jewel box of a museum in a Gilded Age Beaux-Arts mansion; selected rooms of the iconic and encyclopedic Metropolitan Museum of Art; and Henry Clay Frick’s Upper East Side home, newly restored with nearly every inch filled with the art enthusiast’s collection of old master paintings and fine furniture. Throughout your stay, you’ll enjoy the comfort and convenience of the beautifully restored Park Lane New York, ideally situated overlooking Central Park and within easy reach of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Fifth Avenue, and many of the city’s most celebrated cultural institutions.
